We confess – we became hooked on Idol. We liked watching the contestants, judging them and making wise-cracks. But we were slightly bored too….until we were invited into a competition with friends. We each put in 10 bucks and emailed each other our guess of which contestant would be voted off each week. Suddenly TV viewing became more interesting! The game fuelled our competitive spirits, provided comic relief during the week and gave us more interaction with friends. It seemed to bring out the comedian, critic, and judge in us all!

The only drawback of the competition was the administration. One person got the tedious and time-consuming job of tracking all the emails and calculating results. Week after week this became a chore.
