That's a good point. I think that if the winner is over 40 years of age, she could get three cheers from everyone else... and if the winner is under 40 years of age, everyone else should send her something yummy! What do you think?

Well, well, well. After last night Louise is finally happy that Carl is gone. I think Matt is lovely and liked his tears when his mate Carl was booted.
Anyway, Sam is still leading the race but can be overtaken in the final if Lou or Poo Pong get lucky with a surprise upset. OOOh the tension. It is down to the last two. They have all picked Matt as their pre vote winner so the bonus 10 points won't help any of them.

Yes, I agree, I think out of his depth vocally (and has been for a while). I can see he has huge appeal to the female audience, and think it's great that he brings something different to the competition. I also think he has improved HUGELY since the beginning, and you have to admire that. Still, at the end of the day I would never buy his music.

Would anyone buy any music that the contestants potentially make? Don't think I would. Possibly Marty.....

Last night it was public's choice. Natalie kicked off the night with a ballard from Madonna and the judges liked it but they thought she sang it a bit too high as well. ( I found it a bit boring to be quite honest). Next Carl sang a bit of James Morrison which was quite good for something out of his style. Matt sang Evermore's It's too late which should have got a touchdown. After that all the contestants picked their own songs. Maybe after last night I will have to go back on my word last week saying that Carl would be eliminated as this week as I would have to say that Natalie will be out this week. The reason would be that her performances where quite boring. See you later!

Does anyone else think that Carl is out of his element? I can't believe he has made it to the top three. I find him songs quite boring and same old same old!!! Definitely doesn't do it for me. I really hope that Natalie and Matt make it through to the final next week. Matt certainly has great vocals.

Does anyone think it is strange the way the judges talkto/ about Matt. Almost as if they think he is in a state of depression and likely to top himself? Seemed a bit over the top unless htey know something we don't!

Matt Corby will win theres no question there. I really like Carl and I wish he had more people behind him I would love to see him get to the opera house but the way I see it Natalie and Matt will be the final 2 then Matt will win.

It was no suprise that Marty was eliminated on Monday due to his failuire to choose the right topic. In the bottom 2 with him was Carl. (I think that was because when mum tried to vote for him she put Cari!!). I have a hunch that Carl will be eliminated next week. I paid no attention to what topic they were doing next week so I cannot say. See you next week!.

Does anyone know what the deal was with Tarasai? The judges cained her Sunday night, even Marcia (can't say anything constructive) Heinz stuck the boot in by adding nothing. I know Tarsai was a bit annoying but she can certainly sing way better than Carl (I'm trying too too hard to be a suave crooner) Riesley and Marty (I look like Agro and sing pretty badly) Simpson. I reckon she muct have stacked on a turn during the week and really annoyed everyone to the point where they decided to try and get rid of her.
Unfortunately Ted has no inside info from the race track on this topic, although he did learn all about vasectomies there yesterday (?!) and got a new stubbie holder with a picture of a horse on it that just won at Moonee Valley. ($200,000 if your horse wins a Gp 1 race apparently -perhaps those of us that are under re-structure at Scope can by a race horse syndicate when we get spilled/quit?!!)
