What is TV voting?
TV voting is like fantasy football for Reality TV shows like Idol! Our site helps you manage a competition between friends for Reality TV. You sign up, invite friends to log in and join the fun online. You get a private group page where you can write comments to each other and guess which contestant will be eliminated each week. We do the rest for you: we update the show info, calculate scores, produce a results ladder and send reminders and results emails to your friends. Simple and fun!
What information is posted on our group page?
The group page has a list of all your friends’ votes and results ranked against each other. There is also space for you and your friends to post comments and opinions about the shows! It is a page where only you and your friends can log in – so you can trade jokes and clever comments privately!

How is the scoring done?
It depends on the show. For Idol, you pick who will be eliminated each week (worth 3 points) and who else be in the bottom two (1 point each). Before the season starts, you guess the final winner (worth 10 points). We manage any calculations / rule changes / tie breakers for you - so all you have to do is make your picks and have fun!
Do you give me anything if I win?
TV voting doesn't give away any prizes, but you and your friends may have a wager between yourselves! It can make the competition a little more interesting! TV Voting can offer a handy tool to help you track the money (with paid memberships only).
What shows are on TV voting?
We are currently running Australian Idol and So You Think You Can Dance. We'll be adding new shows including Dancing with the Stars, Survivor , The Amazing Race, and others! So stay tuned!
Do the votes on TV voting relate to the official TV networks voting system?
No – the voting on this site is just a competition between friends online. You are simply guessing which contestant on the show will be evicted! An entertaining way to enjoy reality TV.
Can I participate in different groups for different TV shows?
Yes you can join or create as many groups as you like! You simply log in once and use this to access any of the groups you belong to.
What are the voting Rules?
- Votes must be entered via the TV voting site for them to count.
- Votes must be received by the eviction TV show commencement time as published on the site. All times will be displayed in your local timezone.
- Members are allowed to alter votes at any time prior to the show commencement time.
- Under no circumstances will votes be accepted after a show has commenced.
- The site cannot accept votes via email under any circumstances.
What happens if I forget to vote?
If friends miss voting, then they will receive 0 points for that week.
Can I join the competition after the show has started?
Yes. If friends join after the season has commenced, they will be allocated the lowest score for each round missed.
Are payments processed securely?
We use Paymate for our Credit Card transactions. Paymate is recognized as a global leader in online payments. They use military strength encryption to ensure the safety of your credit card details. We never store your credit card details.
